Next production:
The Producers
Wednesday 19 - Saturday 22 May 2010 at The New Theatre Oxford.
Oxford Operatic Society return to The New Theatre with the Mel Brooks smash hit musical, The Producers. Based on the 1968 film of the same name, the show follows the story of failed producer Max Bialystock and his timid accountant Leo Bloom. Together they hatch a theatrical scam to create the ultimate Broadway flop, which will make them more money than a successful show. With songs including "I Wanna Be A Producer" and the infamous "Springtime for Hitler", The Producers is a hilarious, glittering and irreverent spoof of traditional Broadway musicals that will delight audiences from start to finish.
